Q. I selected low quality. Why do my images still take so long to upload?
A. When you upload a new image it gets uploaded to our servers just like it is on your computer. The quality is set when you or someone else views the image. If you want your images to upload to our servers faster you may want to scale them down in width and height before you upload them.
Q. How can I upload full size images?
A. You can upload full size images by unchecking the resize button on the image upload page.
Q. How can I make my images upload faster?
A. If your images are large, scale them down in size with an image editing program before you upload them.
Q. How many folders can I have?
A. You can have an unlimitted amount of folders with unlimitted images within a folder. To keep your images as organized as possible try not to put to many images into one folder.
Q. How can I unsubscribe?
A. You can easily unsubscribe by going to Account/Preferences and clicking the unsubscribe button. Your account will be close and you will be taken to paypal to cancel your subscription with us.
Q. Why are my images renamed?
A. If your filenames on your images are too long they are shortened when uploading them. If you have already uploaded a file with the same name as the one you are currently uploading we assign a 4 digit number to the beginning of your file so that you don't over-write the file that you uploaded before.
Q. What type of files can I host?
A. You can host JPG, GIF and PNG files. If you need support for other file types please contact us and we may be able to add support for them.
Q. How Do I Upload Images & Add Captions
A. You can manage your images, change image resolution, rename, add, move and/ or delete files and images via the 'Image Manager' link on the right sidebar.
To upload, click on 'Upload Images'. If you want to ad captions with your images click "To enter Captions..", link on top right corner under the 'Upload up to [x number] files...', pull down window. You can then upload your images to any file, per size and image resolution that you want along with captions that you may want to have when you are creating a Portfolio or Gallery.
Q. How Do I Create Publicly Viewable Portfolio's and Galleries
A. To create a publicly viewable 'Portfolio' click on the 'Create a Portfolio' link on the right sidebar inside your account. Select a folder of images for 'Portfolio' creation. You can then incorporate your portfolio into a publicly viewed web page by simply copying and pasting your provided portfolio link into a web page or auction page, or simply provide your link to family and friends.
To create a publicly viewable 'Gallery' or 'Auction Image Gallery' click on the 'Create a Gallery' link on the right sidebar inside your account. Select a folder of images for 'Gallery' creation. You can then copy and paste your gallery code into a public web page or auction.
Creating Spins, Image Slideshows, etc is done in a similar manner as described above. The system is advanced but very easy to use and self-explanatory.
